Waldmeister Jackson

This is Waldmeister
Jackson, the one we kept from Waldmeister Liberty's first litter. He is 8 months
old in the picture, enjoying the first of the spring sunshine at Easter 2006. He
is outgoing and lively and keen to run and explore out on the moor. He has
enormous feet which he puts to good use digging - not only in holes but grass,
flowers, anything that can be dug out - plant-pots, patio tubs........ Jackson won well through puppy and at Midland Counties
2006, did the double with his
kennelmate, Mischka, where he won Post Graduate and was also awarded the Reserve
CC! He has another 4 RCC's - one gained at Crufts 2007, one at
Birmingham 2007, one at the Hound Association 2007 and one at Three Counties
2008. At Bath 2007, Jackson gained his first CC, with Best of
Breed! In the same week he got Best of Breed at Stafford County Show and
Best in Show at the Cambrian Dachshund Club under Mark Cocozza! Jackson
got his second CC at Three Counties 2007under Simon Parsons! WELL DONE
JACKSON!!!!!!

This is Jackson
at 8 months - Easter Sunday. Jackson went to his first show on Sunday 19th
February 2006, where he gained a 2nd place in Minor Puppy, in a class of 7 dogs.
He has continued his winning ways and has now gained his Junior Warrant, 5 RCC's and 2 CC's (one with Best of
Breed!). He is slowly starting to show some
aptitude in the hunting field - he was a slow starter but is now getting the
hang of it!

Gino and Jackson are great
pals and spend lots of time playing and hunting together. As you can see
above left, Jackson is also really good with the puppies, and plays with
the litters tirelessly. He is so gentle with them and they all pull on his
ears and pull his beard out - which is why he is always lacking face furnishings
in the show ring! Jackson has now sired several litters and, so far, we
have kept one of his sons, Henry, who is also doing well in the showring.
